Celebrating Over 75 years of giving!
“Embrace Orange” is the major annual fundraiser for the Assistance League® of Orange. Assistance League is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization that has served the needs of the Orange community for over 75 years. 100% of the profits from this event will be used to support the philanthropic programs described below.
Dental Health Center offers low-cost dental care and education for school-age children in our on-site facility.
Operation School Bell® new clothing, hygiene kits, shoe vouchers, backpacks filled with school supplies and a book are provided to students in need.
Orangewood Children & Family Center is a temporary shelter for adused, abandoned and neglected children. Volunteers visit and provide emotional support and activities for resident children of all ages.
HALOS (Helping A Little One Succeed) is a reading tutor/mentor program. Our members work one-on-one with students to improve their reading skills.
Health, Humor and Happiness provides companionship, entertainment and crafts to the senior residents of Orange.
Links to Learning provides scholarships that encourage middle school teachers and staff to seek new student-focused learning experiences such as field trips and enhanced art and music programs or supplies for unique projects.
Christmas Is For Sharing provides food, living necessities and gifts to families in need identified through Orange Children & Parents Together.
Scholarship Awards provide financial aid to deserving high school students in the form of college scholarships in the areas of academic, nursing, technical and fine arts.
Special Assistance provides financial support for urgent household obligations to residents within the City of Orange.
Special Projects responds to critical needs in the community as needed. Efforts have included providing necessities to the homeless and much needed supplies to local schools.
